We're expanding our service area!

News

Beginning in July 2025, The GLMC will begin serving waiver and private clients in Lafayette, Indiana.  After having established services in Lake, Porter, Jasper and LaPorte Counties, The GLMC is heading south on route 65 to serve Tippecanoe county.

Our Services

The GLMC provides in-home and facility based music therapy services.  The music therapist will complete a comprehensive assessment, create a treatment plan, and document progress for treatment team members and individuals.  The music therapist will bring all materials necessary and no prior knowledge or skill of music is required!

Our Team

Tippecanoe county will be served by Edward Hochman, MT-BC, NMT.

Edward Hochman is a board-Certified, person-centered Music Therapist (NMT), who understands that dignity, autonomy, compassion and understanding are all essential parts of humanity and the music therapy process.  Edward has worked in a variety of settings, in long-term care facilities, hospitals, teaching adaptive music lessons to individuals with ASD, working with individuals living with traumatic brain injury, with groups on college campuses and more. In addition, music-centered music therapy informs Edward’s practice, seeing in clinical settings and in practice how music intrinsically aids in facilitating communication, understanding, growth, care and more. In addition to his music therapy work with individuals and groups, Edward has taught general music lessons to individuals ages 6-75+, writes and plays music with friends, attends conferences on music/medicine and enjoys cooking for his family. Edward is an environmentalist, animal-activist and hopes for a world filled with more art and understanding.
